Board of Directors

The business, property, and affairs of the Corporation shall be managed by the Board of Directors, which is composed of 5-15 members. The board is responsible for: selecting officers, selecting new board members, making employment decisions related to the Executive Director, ensuring effective leadership, ensuring policies and procedures are complied with, accountability for the property and funds of the Corporation, and providing oversight to ensure sound financial decision making as well as ensuring compliance with IRS Section 501c3. Further, the board actively works to increase funds and awareness of the organization and its mission within the community while supporting our staff and volunteers in our work toward the mission.
