Child abuse in Indiana is on the rise for the 5th consecutive year. We are seeing this increase locally in Jefferson and Ripley counties as well. After calculating our latest numbers of cases today, we found that we have a 117% increase in child abuse cases in our two counties since this time last year! As of today, we are serving 115 abused and neglected children while we have 126 of these same children on our wait list.
