Voices is excited to announce that we are growing again! Our program has experienced consistent, stable growth for the past 7 years. Due to this success, we are now in a position to focus more specifically on the individual needs of each of our counties. In partnership with our judges and state office, we've come up with a plan to have a Director and also a Board of Directors to focus solely on each individual county!
As stated by our current Executive Director, Tonya Ruble-Richter, "I'm so proud of our program, and all that we have accomplished together as a team, over the past 7 years. All of that has brought us to this point where both programs can be self-sustaining, and efficient, individually which will allow us to continue to grow in our efficiency of meeting the individual needs of our counties, our courts, and most importantly the children we serve!"
As Tonya moves out of state later this year, she will work on transitioning her position into two new Directors' positions. Both organizations will operate as individual 501c3 charities. The name Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children, Inc. will remain in Ripley county while a new program, Child Advocates of Jefferson County, Inc., will be created for Jefferson.
We continue to look forward to working with our communities to serve the children who need us most!
